Default Canadian CG...leave in conditioner

So I searched a few stores for a leave in conditioner with zero luck. Found a few but they had 'cones. My hair is in need of a leave in i think.

There is always iHerb.com. They have decent international shipping rates and a lot of natural popular leave ins like kinky curly knot today.

Have you tried posting what you are looking for on the Canadian swap board?

most of us use our regular conditioners, daily or deep, as leave ins. i think they actually work better. you don't have to use one that specifies leave in.

Maybe try watering it down a little in a smaller bottle, so it's not too heavy?

I tried making a leave in recipe i found on here and my hair was terribly greasy feeling....it was mostly water with a bit of condish and olive oil.

olive oil does not condition, it seals. some people like to use oils to seal, others, myself included, can not.
i'd just leave in more of your regular conditioner. of course, what you are using may not be moisturizing enough for your hair. all conditioners are not equal.

I know what you mean. Here in Toronto or Mississauga when I go into a beauty outlet or salon and ask for certain products they have no idea what I am talking about. I'm getting rather frustrated with Canadian stores and their lack of merchandise.

I just go to Buffalo New York to get all my products, stock up and drive back.

Sometimes you can find certain things in Winners or Marshall's but it is rather hit or miss. They do occasionally have the Giovanni products at Winners.

I have also had some luck with Clore's Beauty Supply store but I'm not sure if they have that where you live.

I use my Jane Carter conditioner. I get it on the ground because the seller lives in Montreal, but they ship everywhere in Canada.

The site is Love Thy HnS Canada

I don't find all rinse outs suited to be leave ins. I like to mix my TN with avj. But that's the new formula. The old TN formula didn't work for me as a leave in with our w/o avj. I spent the night with a friend and forgot my stuff so I tried to refresh my hair with her Suave Naturals Coconut. Not a good li for me!!

I like Jane Carter leave in but I don't buy anymore since I started making my mixture.
