Protein heavy gel?

Anyone know of one? Prefer CG and drugstore/big box/Sally's available. (In other words - CHEAP! Lol!)

Deva gels have protein, and I love the ArcAngel. It's cheapest on Amazon.

I have some Joico JoiGel Firm if you're interested...I don't much care for it, but it has lots of protein, also a water sol cone. Here are the ingredients:

Water (aqua), VP/VA Copolymer, Hydrolyzed Keratin (Quadramine Complex), Cocodimonium Hydroloxypropyl Hydrolyzed Keratin, PEG 8 Dimethicone, Acrylates Crosspolymer, Oleth 20, Tetrasodium EDTA, Triethanolamine, Benzophenone 4, Propylene Glycol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Benzyl Benzoate, Hexylcinnamal, Limonene, Butylphenyl Methlyproprional, Fragrance (parfum)

What would you say the "hold" of this gel is?

I second this question!!

Also, what are the proteins?
And is it cone free?

Corrina777 04-23-2013 02:00 PM

Hold is high medium to low firm. Stronger than LAL Nutra Curl, not as strong as BRHG, haven't used LALSG recently enough to fairly compare the two. Hydrolyzed wheat protein and hydrolyzed soy protein, ingredients # 4 and 5, respectively (behind water, polyquat-11, and panthenol).

Corrina777 04-23-2013 02:00 PM

And completely cone-free

Jas76 04-23-2013 02:27 PM

Awesome!!! Thanks!! Will be trying this very soon!!!

Jas76 04-23-2013 02:28 PM

This is the one that's the generic for Sebatians when wet gel, right? Not the Paul Mitchell one?

Corrina777 04-23-2013 03:04 PM

Yes. Generic for Sebastian Wet.

Interesting! I'm surprised that this isn't more popular. Thanks for asking the question, Jas and thanks for sharing, Corrina!
