Has anyone tried the vitamin e oil from now foods for hair care. It's mixed with extra virgin olive oil. I'm trying to gather a list of oils to mix together to help strengthen and moisturize my hair and I wonder if this particular product has been effective for anyone.

I have type 4c hair and almost a month ago I had to do ANOTHER big chop due to my hair falling out and thinning.

I've gotten some good advice from these forums and from the changes I made so far my hair has been improving so I'm trying to make sure I cover all the basics to keep it on track.

Thanks in advance everyone
Vitamin E is loaded with antioxidants. Mix some Vitamin E Oil with Coconut Oil and Olive Oil and you have a nice punch to moisture and getting rid of unwanted scalp problems.

Coconut Oil contains great fatty acids that have properties of antimicrobial, antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, and offer free-radical-fighting antioxidants. This allows Vitamin E Oil to work that much better.

Olive Oil is a good staple to add a moisture packed punch. (EVOO)

Another great combo to use is Cinnamon or Cardamom with a nice rich dark honey is a super punch for stimulating hair growth also and naturally lightens hair over several uses. (Some people have sensitivity to Cinnamon, so Cardamom is actually safer)

I have thinning hair myself and I've seen nice results with the Cinnamon and Honey. Honey is also a nice natural humecant which attracts moisture.

There is a whole library if oils and natural items you can use on your head, skin, and face. LOL.

Now specifically I do not know about Now products other than the fact reviews say the quality is lacking for making items with. *shrugs* it's cheap though.

I buy a lot of my oils from Fixed Oils | Bramble Berry® Soap Making Supplies There are a ton and it gives you a nice list that you can google the affects of an oil that could help.

Lastly, massaging the scalp to stimulate circulation is a must.

That's all I got! LOL I hope this helps you.

one tb honey
tsp cin
thee tbs of distilled water
I always add some coconut oil
If you need more add the 1:3 ratio for honey vs water.
