Finally bought & tried some KCCC - LOVE it!

Oh my gosh, I just adore this stuff! It just melts into my wet hair and after I diffused, I had ultra shiny, zero frizz, well defined curls. I was worried it would act like the SM soufle, which my hair HATED, but it was nothing like it!

:flower:

Jules, what are your properties again? I'm on the app and can't see!

I keep toying around with trying KCCC.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WOMAN, TRY IT! TRY IT NOW!

I'm sorry. Just a big KCCC fan. If I could buy the world a jar I would.

It is wonderful in terms of curl definition but I don't like the crunch. I get same curls jet no crunchy but very soft hair with Hawaiian Silky curl activator. Plus it is only around $4-$5. I guess you don't mind the crunch or do you have a trick. Mind you, I only use about 1 tbsp on my 4a (reached base of neck if stretched) hair.

rmc2 04-26-2013 11:43 AM

Yet not jet

I guess this is a sign (if I would believe in such a thing). I've been thinking about getting KCCC and it seems that a lot of people like it, with various properties. Should I get it or not?

PomegranateCurl 04-26-2013 07:37 PM

My very first tub just arrived! I get to try it soon as well! Yay!

CurlyJulie81 04-26-2013 09:08 PM

I don't get crunch at all- I flipping LOVE KCCC. I'm a huge fan. I have super fine curls and this stuff is amazing.

pajally 04-26-2013 09:12 PM

I'm a fan of it as well :) The price scared me a little bit, but I've been working out of the same jar for 4 months now... and still have probably about half remaining... so not a bad investment! For me, a little seems to go a long way.

I get some major crunch from it, but I style my hair at night so I prefer this - the crunch is gone in the morning after I've spent the night tossing and turning. Otherwise if I were styling it during the day, diffusing has always helped me eliminate crunch without creating frizz or ruining my curls.

anonymous_133347 04-26-2013 09:17 PM

Amen, Pajally! I purchased my first little tub of KCCC at the end of November or beginning of December and it's 3/4s of the way gone. If I'm styling during the day I use less KCCC and get next to no crunch. Whatever crunch is there unfurls throughout the day or with a graze of my fingers. If I'm styling at night I use extra so I'll have more of a gelcast to protect and maintain my curls' shape as I sleep. KCCC, you do it all. And you leave my hair feeling soft, lustrous, and natural. :notworthy:

LOL!! But... How do HIGH porous curries like it? Aren't you all medium to low?

Julesonline 04-27-2013 01:59 PM

Since it is a moisturizing jelly product Jas, I would think it would also benefit porous curlies too!

anonymous_133347 04-27-2013 02:17 PM

Jas a lot of us reporting our love for KCCC are also highly porous, like you. It's in our siggies. :thumright:

Yoshimi 04-27-2013 02:42 PM

I haven't liked it so far on wet hair, but I used a little today for definition when my hair was dry and I think it has potential.

Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using CurlTalk App

Jas76 04-27-2013 04:44 PM

I'm on the app, so I can't see siggies!

And Dusa, for some reason I thought you were LOW porous! Maybe because you've been bonding with Myrna?

Or maybe it's just because I'm sick right now and have things all messed up! Lol!

I have had no luck putting things in my hair when dry. It jus seems to break up clumps further and cause frizz. :/

anonymous_133347 04-27-2013 04:57 PM

Nah Myrna and I bond because we're a couple of coarse haired foxy brunettes who happen to like aloe. ;) Sorry you're sick, Jas. :( (Hug!) Some things (if they promote clumps) work very well in dry hair for me. SMCES, CJ PP, FSG, CK etc.

bleuyteuy 04-27-2013 05:20 PM

I might have to buy some even though its a little pricey. You guus make it sound amazing

Samanthascurlz 04-27-2013 08:11 PM

It is definitely amazing! I kept holding it off of buying it bc of its price. But when I had the extra money, I bought it and was so happy! I love it so much that I don't want to use it so I don't waste it LOL!

pianogirl 04-27-2013 09:10 PM

I almost bought some today! I am still thinking about buying some online. Does anyone with Lo-Porosity hair have good luck with it??
