Ouidad Cut vs Deva. What is your experience?

I have been getting Deva cuts here in Orlando for a few years. To date I have not been thrilled but I think that is more the experience/training of the stylist here in Orlando than the Deva style of cutting. But I am wondering about Ouidad cuts. I would love for someone to explain this type of haircut and how it compares to a Deva cut.

I would love to hear experiences (good or bad) and if you prefer Oudiad can you tell me a little bit why?

In case it matters I have 3B hair a little past my shoulders and it is a little thick.
I'm my opinion, I'd do the deva cut over the ouidsd. I've tried ouidad hair cuts recently and deva cut about 5 years ago. The deva cut cuts each curl dry before washing and styling, whereas the ouidad cut is done wet with a"carve and slice" technique. Basically they take chunks of the "bulk"of your hair and thin it out. I got the cut done twice and i've noticed I now have TONS of single stand knots in the area now and I NEVER use to get them before. The cut itself looked fine, but they state you can go 6 months without a haircut which want true for me. And for a $98 hair cut, it was just a big no for me.
