British curlies!

(Or anyone else who has tried it)
Boots Curl Creme? Is it worth it? I'll be in England this summer and am considering giving it a try! ;)

I am high porous, long and fairly dense. Curls are a loose-ish 3a. I tend to like products that boost curls as give some hold.

TIA!

It is definitely worth it because it is so cheap here that you don't have much to lose! It is less than 2 for a big pot I think, and since you don't need much it lasts a very long time. If you do really like it you'll have some heavy bags to cart home!

I used to use and like it, it doesn't give massive hold from what I remember. I think you'll like it. The only reason I don't use it right now (although I have some upstairs!) is because it can be a little bit drying - I maybe imagining that effect but since my hair has been damaged I don't get on with it so well. I never noticed any drying effect when my hair was in better condition though. I might try it again now you've reminded me!

Hope you enjoy your trip to the Uk! If you need any info on anything else let me know :happy11:

Thanks so much, Lucyprimrose!! I will have to pick some up for sure! I can't believe it's so cheap!!

And thanks! I'm so excited to be going!! It's been a dream since I was a child. We'll be there for two weeks, and are traveling all over. London, Dorking, Cheltenham, Cheddar, Nottingham, Lincoln... Several other places! I'm so excited! But I'm afraid of flying... So I'm trying to forget about that part. LOL!

I use it and love it. I find it quite moisturising.

Beware, it doesn't travel well at all. I took some on a long haul flight and it ended up all over the place. Thankfully I had tied it up in a plastic bag beforehand.

Thanks for the warning!! I usually travel with a roll of tape so I can tape things shut!

I noticed walgreens is carrying Boots now....but no sign of the hair products yet, just face stuff. But I'm sure it's coming.

There was a panic when it seemed like it might be discontinued, wasn't clear if it was or if it was supply issues but it seems to be back anyway. There is also Boots purple, a gel, but that is probably less unique - it is ok but fairly standard gel.
