Question which ecostyler do you reccomend?!

so basically, due to the extreme lack of hair products in the uk,i found some ecostyler online for cheap, which i know is used a lot in the curl world...anyway i am not sure which one to get. ive eliminated the pink one and the protein one, but i am unsure whether to get the krsytal one, the argan oil one, or the olive oil one. i dont want my hair to be crunchy, but i want good hold and shine, and i prefer looser curls. which one is for me?please reply soon as i need to order it tonight!

ps. my hair is low porosity, and ranges from 2a (underneath) to 3a.

Just delete the other thread. Or leave it for more answers. Haha.

I recommend the argan one. I haven't tried them all but I tried that one and it gave me great hair. Although I have to say tighter curls which might not be what you're looking for. Just be modest in your application and don't scrunch up. Maybe rake down. Argan ecostyler also dried me out but I'm sensitive to wheat protein. Apparently a lot of people aren't since ecostyler is so popular.

Also, the olive oil one reportedly gives many people white flakes. The only leave in that doesn't seem to clash with it for a lot of people is Paul Mitchell's The Conditioner. (I hope I'm remembering that right.)

i dont think im sensitive to protein as i did a coconut milk and lime treatment and my hair was very soft so im guessing im not protein sensitive? also, with dry hair, do you mean it felt dry or looked dry/lacked shine or both?

Blue Eco is nice, but I also like xtreme wetline gel.

The only one I have tried is the Moroccan Argan Oil one and I really like the added shine I get from it that I don't normally get from gels. I find that it gets a little hard when drying but any crunch goes away on its own once the hair completely dries. I think it says on the bottle that its a soft hold gel. I plan on trying the other ones once I use this one up. I actually used it today and my hair is nice, relatively frizz-less, and touchably soft.

No it didn't lack shine. Although I'm not sure if that's the gel or not because I've noticed since going CG that my hair is quite shiny no matter what I use. And it didn't look dry or feel dry when it was dry (and by that I mean not wet--sorry for the redundancy.) But then I went to wash it. You know how when you wet your hair you can tell if it's dry and needs moisture or very moisturized and can take a bit more protein? (That's how I gauge which conditioner to use.) Well, it was very dry. Usually I wet my hair and it turns to silk. But with ecostyler it felt very rough and parched. It's sort of the same reaction I get after a day in the sun but this was in the wintertime. I tried several times but if I leave that gel in my hair for more than a day it dries it out. I can't remember if I was sealing back then though. Probably not. Maybe that would have helped. But I digress. If you're not sensitive to wheat protein, ecostyler is great. And it didn't give me much crunch to scrunch out either. For $5 I don't think anybody could afford not to try it, you know?

Good choice. I find that the argan and olive have about the same hold but I get more days out of olive.

I use the ao one and I have 3c hair. Its very thick and smells like fresh apples. With your curl pattern, a little of this would go a long way.
