Just something I'm trying today. I'd like to know if anyone else has done so.

yeah you mean instead of a condish? one time i used it before my condish leave in and it was pretty bad.
I've been using it as a leave in for the bottom section of my hair for months. I love the results, it does a very good job of stopping my hair from frizzing and leave its soft and touch able.

You don't need much though!
Modified CG since 8/12
Hair: BSL, Thick, Low Porosity, Dense, 3A
HG's: Moogoo, Ultraorganics Intense Camomile Conditioner and Clear Henna Hair Wax, Sukin Conditioners, CO, Spray Bottle, Henna
Low-Poo: Moogoo Shampoo
Co-Wash: Sukin Nourishing Conditioner
DT: CHHW, ICC, CO
LI: Sukin Moisture Restoring
Colour: Henna
I wasn't willing to commit it seems so I used a quarter size EVCO and a quarter size KCKT. But it worked great! I think I'll it again just oil.

I have. I do like it... it's a bit tricky to get the amount right. Too much can be no bueno and it's easy to overdo. It's also hard to get even coverage which is why i now prefer leave-ins now that I've discovered them. But it's certainly not bad!
I have, in the heat when I'll be outside a lot that day. Keeps my hair soft, helps with the frizz, and has some sun protection. I still need some SPF on my scalp/part, which I'll have to wash out later - and that coconut oil helps the washing out from being drying! (I do use a cone-free SPF, tho! )

I find I can only use EVCO as a LI/Refresher/sealer, whatever (where it will be left in my hair) in the warmer months. If it's cool enough for it to go back to solid my hair looks awful!

I will use a dime of that with a dime of LI and a few drops of MO to seal, tho! I have just started doing that again recently since its been warm enough.

I do find EVCO refreshes my curls well, but of course they end up greasy. Lol! Wish there was a way around that!

I have used EVCO as a leave in under gel, it works great for me. I get a wonderful amount of shine and softeness after I scrunch out the gel cast.

Note: I often use too much and will get an oily neck and chest! LOL

I use it as a deep conditioner, and I already think then that it is very greasy so I would not use it as leave in
A lot of oils have a tendency to leave my hair oddly dry and awful feeling. One of the only oils I can use is coconut oil and I do sometimes use a small and it works well. Generally, I prefer it to be mixed with something else, though.
3b/c, fine hair, low porosity. Had dreadlocks for three years and combed them out a year ago. Currently letting my hair grow...
