Could it be...

While I was in London, I had great hair. Good hair day after good hair day. I've been trying to reconstruct that but haven't been successful. Not even once. This morning, I realised that perhaps it had to do with the gelatine PT I tried... I'm just not sure if that's possible, date-wise.

2 April: Gelatin PT (followed by a rinse-out with only the smallest amount possible).
6 April: Low-poo wash, no conditioner.
12 April: Off to London.
14 April: Low-poo wash, no conditioner.
16 April: Returning home.
17 April: Low-poo wash in the evening (I never wash it in the evening because it takes forever to dry) because it felt all gunky and odd.

I'm not sure but I think I've read that some people only noticed the results of the gelatine PT after another wash. Could this have been the case with me as well?

Could it just have been the different water? I'm in the UK atm and my hair is behaving differently to usual.

That's not really likely, actually. The water is pretty similar to the water in the Netherlands (though it has an odd taste - I only drink bottled water there). Also, it looked best between my wash at home and my wash over there.

How do you like it in the UK?

if you want to be sure it's the PT, you should try it again... it has been a couple of weeks now since your last gelatin PT so you probably won't get overproteined

Thanks Neleke! I got new gelatine today and I intend to PT again tomorrow afternoon. Curious to see how that goes.

I'm from the UK - been living in Oz for 22 yrs and am just back for a holiday. It's cold!

Oh wow, that's nice! I study English Language & Culture so I basically have a fascination for the UK, for Australia (thanks to Masterchef Australia - wish they would finally broadcast season 4 in the Netherlands) and the US.

I did the gelatine PT again last Wednesday and so far, my hair seems to hold my curls much better. I also received AO GPB yesterday (finally!) and I'm curious to see how that goes. A bit scared as well because I noticed it contains some oils in the first five ingredients on the list and my hair hates oils. I'm still wondering why I didn't notice that whilst doing my research. It was only 6,- including shipping so it's not a disaster if it doesn't work out but so far, none of my new products have turned out well.

Anyway, glad to finally see that my hair indeed likes protein.
