Default Sleeping on curly hair

What to do while I'm sleeping? My hair is almost always weird and frizzy after I sleep on it, unless I put it into a bun before going to bed, which is kind of uncomfortable.
Thanks for any tips, suggestions, product ideas, etc.

Invest in a satin bonnet.

Waterlily716 on YouTube has some good videos on her night time and morning hair routines. Also some links on 'pineappling' and sleeping in the Techniques sticky here on this board.

I am such a sensitive sleeper, i don't know if i could sleep with ahead cover on. I should try the pineapple, but isn't it best to do that with a cloth scrunchie, yes? I need to get one of those...

I do braid my hair before bed so i dont get knots though.

i cant sleep with a satin bonet either. I bought a silk pillow case or a satin one and i just put my hair in a loose pony tail high on my head. usually ok I just have to fluff my hair out and put some kinda oil or leave in the next day
