i bought the tub of raw shea butter. unrefined and i rubbed it in my hands this morning after putting my leave in, in my hair. I am using raw sheat butter as a sealant.
My question is, how do you put it in your hair to go smoothly in? My hands were all waxy and its all thick and waxy. Its really hard to put in my hair.
any tips? maybe mix olive oil and shea butter to make it softer?
anyone got any tips? I kinda wanna do this mix tonight
Bit out of the ball park - but have your tried blending it in a mixer? Maybe with olive oil or almond oil?

I blend my coconut oil with camomile tea and honey for my face and it always much more pliable to use.

Just an idea - Good luck!

Put it in the microwave and it will melt into liquid.

Don't throw it out, unrefined shea butter is amazing for skin! Buy a cheap hand blender and make shea-aloe butter. IMO it is too thick and rich for many hair types.
PomegranateCurl likes this.
like its in my hair now and it feels so waxy but my hair feels kinda good and full but its so gross. idk what to do. oh well
