Question Should I Go Without Styling Products?

I was curious... Because I watched this video right here:

How to Style Curly Hair! - YouTube

She used NO serum, gel, ANYTHING and her hair is GORGEOUS!

All she really does is the basic deep treatments 1x a week, rinses with cold water, etc. (as shown here)

DIY: Homemade Frizzy Hair Remedies! | AndreasChoice - YouTube

I am wanting to try her method out... I'm always being told I need to stop using stylers as they make my hair look like wire. (I'm CG by the way, and have bought SO many gels, mousses, conditioners, etc. They all do the same thing.)

What do you other curlies think about my idea? My hair is 2C, fine, med porosity (from past bleaching )

Wow, she really has amazing hair! I must say that I like Andrea's hair better than her twin sister's.

I think you should definitely give it a try, but be careful with the DIY conditioners. If I were you, I would do a little research on the ingredients and see what they can do for your hair vs. what your hair needs.
