is the kérastase oléo relax shampoo very damaging because of its sulfates?

I used to use the shampoo of kérastase- oléo relax. my curls aways looked really beautiful... since I use the devacurl nopoo, hair looks lifeless and dull... do you think my hair likes sulfates? or what is the reason?
Mines the same. For events/ nights out etc I use sulphates and silicones and I'm CG the rest or the time - purely for the health of my hair...
Several possibilities
- experincing the true condition of your hair without the fake shine and slip of silicones is an unpleasant shock
- you didn't clarify properly before starting co-washing/ still have silicones or other ingredients that build up in your routine
- Devacurl does not suit your hair type/ lifestyle/ climate
- You are not massaging thoroughly/ not rinsing properly
- some combination thereof.

Ingredients show nothing fundamentally beneficial for hair, it's just a cocktail of lab chemicals
"Aqua/Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Coco Betaine, Laureth-5 Carboxylic Acid, Cocamide MIPA, Trimethylsilyamodimethicone, Sodium Chloride, Polyquaternium 10, Sodium Salicylate, Benzophenone-4, Benzoic Acid, Methylparaben, Sodium Hydroxide, Butylparaben."

Yes research suggests sulphates are damaging to both skin and hair, you can mitigate against that with a condition-wash-condition routine but you may experience silicone build up over time.
