How do you use your second day spritz

I seem to end up with stringy ends if I just try to dampen my hair, so I end up with a very dilute spray that I have to saturate my hair with, which pretty much defeats the objects of using a spritz for second day hair in the first place.

So I'm curious how everyone else uses their spray to refresh their hair?

Low Poo, Condition, Leave in, Curl cream, Supersoak, Gel, Diffuse on high heat, with minimal lift to encourage waves and reduce frizz, Dry on cool with nozzle down to smooth hair and finish drying,Shine Serum

Weekly gelatin protien treatments.
I use a mixture of about 1/4 AVG to 3/4 water. Sometimes I'll add a pinch of epsom salts and/or a few drops of ACV. Mostly, it's just AVG and water. I spritz until just barely damp and scrunch a few times. I sometimes need to finger curl a few strays. If it's a real mess, I may need to smooth/scrunch a little more FSG. I put clips around the crown for a little added lift and go about my morning routine. By the time I'm ready to leave for work, I'm completely dry. I take out the clips and scrunch out any crunch that may have formed. Good to go.

My hair is fine and gets weighed down easily. There are a few keys for me to get consistent results for good 2nd and 3rd day hair. The less product, the better. If I use any leave-in, it must be a minute amount. I need to go light on any stylers. The only thing I can be liberal with is gel - and I need to be liberal with it on wash days in order to get 2nd and 3rd day hair. That's why I like FSG - I can slather it in without fear of over-doing it.

I feel the same way. I get stringy ends for 2nd day hair with lots of crown frizz and super big clumps made up of many stringy curls. I do not like very much, plus my hair can feel heavy and coated. UGH. I also feel itís better to go light on 2nd day hair but I need to add something to my hair or itís out of control. Made okra gel with double agave nectar, but not liking it. Itís has a very heavy feeling; that it just sits on top of my hair. Will try another batch with honeyquat instead. But I will try the water/AVG combo tomorrow and see how my hair holds up. Fingers crossed
