Default 2C or 3A Hair?

I'm still trying to figure out whether my hair is 2C or 3A Or whichever type of hair type it is. It seems like my hair texture changes all the time depending on the time of year so I can't really figure it out, what do you think?

I'm also not sure to say whether my hair is thick or thin, my hair seems different everyday!

In those pictures the way the waves are falling I'd say a mix of 2B/2C but I bet with product and styling you'll be solid 2C or 3A. Your hair texture changes with the seasons because of the dew point. I bet it's curlier in the summer and spring, right? Climate really affects the hair. Also, are you using a sulfate shampoo? If so switch to a gentler one. And try getting rid of silicones in your products. Once you do those things you might be a solid 2C or 3A. My hair transformed from a dry, frazzled nest 2B on top with 2C on the bottom to 2C with 3A on the bottom in a week after dropping silicones. (I was already sulfate free.) The next week I was mostly 3A with 3B underneath.

By the way, it's hard to tell if your individual hair strands are thick or thin from a picture. But I'd say you're at least medium density. You've got a lot of hair!

Thank you very much! as a matter of fact, I went shampoo and conditioner free for eight months and got this, but I wasn't sure what type that really is either. I've actually gotten much poofier hair recently and it might be because I started shampooing again.
First two with no shampoo, and third one was when I started using it again.

So you're doing the all natural method! I know a guy who does that. Well, actually he does a lemon rinse once a month but aside from that, no products. Well, I think your hair looks great in all the pictures right here but maybe limit your shampoos to once or twice a week to keep them from drying out your hair if you're still gonna use sulfates. Your hair is short right now so there is not much chance of it drying out but if it gets longer you'll have to protect it with leave in conditioner to keep it from getting frizzy or dry. Oh! Another thing. For some wavycurlies the longer their hair gets the curlier because the hair twines around itself and forms into ringlets. You should try letting it grow another inch or two and see what happens. If it forms into ringlets it will spring up anyways. In any case, you've got great hair. It's very shiny and healthy looking. And I'm assuming that's without the help of any leave in conditioner or gel!

Thank you so much!!! I've been trying to limit the shampooing the past week and I changed to ACV again when I saw your post, and I have already seen super changes in my hair!! Now that warm weather and humidity is coming in, it actually HAS made a huge difference in my hair lately, and I think if I keep continuing, maybe even if I start using leave-in conditioners!
