Default Looking for a New Deep Treatment

Have been using Jessicurl Deep Cond. Treatment with heat even and don't seem to be getting very moisturized! Any suggestions as to what I could try? I thought this one was supposed to be a good one! Ugh!

I use the Macademia Oil from Organix. I used to have a lot of split ends but this stuff is awesome

Oh I like that one! In fact the other day I was going grocery shopping and my ends felt dryish so I put some on my ends and thought I'd rinse out when I got home. Well when I got home it looked so nice I just left it alone. But my hair is only wavy so maybe it's not enough for curlier dryer hair. Like SM deep Moisturizing masque is too much for me.

Read and research the ingredients and look at what your hair needs based on its properties and your local climate. The Jessicurl has behentrimonium which is great for slip plus several oils/ butters some of which contain fatty acids that may be absorbed into damaged/ highly porous hair. It is not packed with humectants, the water attracting ingredients, nor proteins if your hair does well with those.

There are loads of great science-based articles here on Naturally Curly by 'curl chemist' Tonya McKay, plus some good stuff on the Natural Haven blog.
