that's a great idea Jessiebanana! really great idea...
Although I am experimenting (a lot) I don't really consider myself a product junkie (maybe I'm just in denial though)...
I just consider myself new in the world of products, since for the past 9 years I have used the exact same shampoo and conditioner until going CG... I didn't know ANYTHING about products.
So yes, I have a long long long way to go to find my ideal products.

I also don't consider myself a product junkie because I know I'm someone who likes to keep it "safe". Once I have found something that works for me, I will stick to that, I'm sure... (maybe I will have 2 different kinds of every sort of product so I can use product series A on Wednesday and product series B on Sunday, just like Kathymack does but a bit less , but if I find the right things, I won't be looking into "new things" again, unless some of my routineproducts aren't sold anymore) ...

So... I really like the idea of ordering samples

I don't consider myself a junkie either. I'm just don't like to settle. I'll search until I find something I love, but once I find it I'm good. I've been using the same RO conditioner since I tried it. I'm not tempted to buy anything else, unless it's cheaper.
Neleke likes this.

Sheamoisture coconut hibiscus style milk
EO keratin condish
Colorful neutral protein filler

UFD curly magic gel.... But I don't know I think I may be sensitive to aloe.

CHS roller clamps
Deva clips for cross clipping

My ideal styling products would maintain moisture without over conditioning or weighing down my hair. It would define my waves, add volume if possible and give me great second day hair with minimal to no effort. A bit of protein is nice as well.

When I first started doing the whole CG method purposefully (as opposed to accidentally) my hair LOVED moisture. 5 months later and I think the moisture levels in my hair have gone up in general and I may have gone down a level in porosity as well because my hair gets over conditioned pretty easily. I can't use my formerly favorite leave-in anymore! I may actually have to use gel/jelly only. Does this happen a lot? Oh well, back to the drawing board.
fine - low porosity - medium density - normal elasticity. Very high dews. Soft water.

I want to try Aubrey organics GPB but not sure which scent. I'm waiting to see if I can smell the different scents in person. I did not like the honey suckle rose scent I don't mind "herbal" scents. Since their scents are strong, I'd like to smell them in person.
I would like to smell the camellia one too or the island one?
I'm considering the Curl Junkie beautiful curls leave in but haven't decided since I really like GDLI and Marie Dean red clover leave in.

Other than that, I've pretty much found the products I love and plan on sticking with....for now . I have lots of favorites and staple products that my hair loves. I just like to experiment with different combos. I've tried Recoil and am determined to make it work.
