Default SM curling soufflé

Was fine at first but now the top layers of my hair are stringy and hard when I use it. Anyone know why? If this helps, I just got my hair analysis today and my results are: normal porosity, medium texture and normal elasticity

It maybe too heavy for your hair. If I use curling pudding on my hair, I get the same results because curling pudding is too heavy for my hair. You may want to try the SM styling milk. It's really light.

Is that a cream? Creams are usually heavy on my hair, which is why I thought I was low porosity and/or fine textured. I've never tried leaving some conditioner in my hair after I shower though, so should I try that first? I've spent so much money on products already :-/ I never left conditioner in because I use a styling product after I shower so having both things would be too heavy. I'm wondering if I should give that a shot first
