HI curly folks,, I am new to curly long hair! I have always kept my hair super short because it never did what I wanted.
I have grown my hair out now and don't know how to make it be curly & pretty without spending hours upon hours slaving over it.
I have 2a to 2b hair just below shoulder blades.
I wear it in a ponytail cause I don't know how to manage it.
I would love to have a soft bouncy head of curls, but I am at a loss as to what products will be best.
There are SO many to choose from, that I feel helpless!
Someone please help this newbie to the long curly world.

Do you know what your hair properties are? Also consider your local climate, if it is quite humid or not. Have you read about the Curly Girl method that a many of us follow (some modified)? You can follow this with fairly cheap high street products, then trade up when you understand your hair better and are familiar with the techniques.

There are some great YouTube videos on the Curly Girl method and products by Waterlily716. Also loads of information here on NC in the articles and linked to from the stickies in the newbies section and this board.
