Happy hair

Ooooh its a good day!

I did my first brown sugar scrub today, it felt so strange on my head. I rinsed out with lemon aid, and my hair felt really clean, like when you use good shampoo! Then I slapped on a hefty pile of el cheapo conditioner mixed with some honey, and clipped up while I showered.

When I got out the shower I was very concerned, my hair wasnt clumping. I plopped for 20 mins, then slid in some gel. Still no good clumps. After my last disaster, I thought hmmm I am NOT gonna touch! My hubby then announced we were going out to eat, so I had no choice but not to touch!

By the time I got home my hair was completely dry, and looked so good, nice, soft, clumps! This is honestly the best my hair has looked in my life, and my hubby is acting alllll romantic heheheeeee.

Its so true that your hair has an enormous effect on how you feel. Happy hair, happy me! (pics to come)

I really have to try that brown sugar scrub. What conditioner did you use with it?

Well, the brown sugar was a funny one right from the start. I was standing in the supermarket scratching my head over whether "brown sugar" actually meant the brown soft stuff, or the muscavado, or the demarera sugar that is more granulated.....choices!!! I plumped for the one that said "brown sugar" on it, figuring that was what Lorraine said so it must be the right stuff. It was soft stuff, that melted easily. I mixed it in with some cheapy schwartzkopf supersoft pink stuff for "dull frizzy hair". It smells lovely, like rose petals, but I dont think its a great conditioner, Im just using it all up! I rubbed it on my scalp for quite a while, to make sure of the exfoliating effect! I think the lemon aid was needed to help rinse, because it felt mushy after I rinsed it.

ETA..no!! It wasnt the pink stuff! I used tea tree conditioner from Asda (walmart), i remember now, thinking the tea tree would be good for my skin! AAAH its late, Im losing it!!!

Well, as for the pics, they are sitting in a file on my husbands PC, and I'm waiting til he sends them to my laptop. My USB has died so I cant upload to mine! There is a dramatic "bad hair" pic on there too, just for laughs.

Got up this morning, took out the pineapple and still have pretty good hair. Bigger than yesterday, but that always seems to be the effect of the pineapple.

Hopefully Ill get those pics uploaded today
