Default To all curlies here

I just want to say that it's great to be part of the curl community here. Everyone is so kind and helpful to one another and I have learned so much already from many knowledgeable curlies. It's not just useful to browse and participate on the forum, but it's also a lot of fun. Thanks to Curltalk, I feel that my hair is one of my hobby's now.

Thanks girls!

hobby or obsession? I get comments of a couple of friends that it is getting an obsession
However, they do start to follow some of the experiments I did with their own (non-curly) hair such as avoiding sulphates and silicones, vinegarrinses, diffusing (that one counts for one friend who has like 2a hair),...

I'm lucky to have a blog where I try to share the things I learn here in a series on taking care of your curls/hair. People start asking me for advice. They think I'm somewhat obsessed (and I can't blame them) but they're curious as well. Some people actually went sulfate and cone free because of my articles! Glad to hear that I'm not the only one

Seriously just in the short time since I found this site I feel like my hair has improved a lot. It was ok before, once I started going sulfate free, but learning techniques and other tips here has started me on a journey towards even better hair.... just gotta figure it all out lol. Also I am just happy to have something to read/fill my down time with each day. I have always belonged to some type of forum (mom groups, cooking/baking, photography) but lately hadn't been as active in them and was getting bored. Now I feel like the day disappears as I read through threads on here for more info lol. I think it may be bordering on an obsession already, but I just can't wait to have great hair!

HG: currently
just washing with a low poo that contains protein (Alba Naturals Coconut) and using Suave Naturals Coconut as both a RO and LI. No stylers right now, but this gives me pretty good curl, definition, low-ish frizz, and it feels and looks good. Also an occasional PT (liking the Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula which has cones) seems to be key for me.
