Hi,

from what I've read so far, clumping refers to curls that are fatter, more defined. Sometimes curls get too separated and go really skinny and seem to multiplyand go stringy, clumping is the opposite effect. Bits of hair clumped together in one big curl! I like it when my hair does it, because it makes it calmer, not as much uncontrollable volume!!!

I'm a newbie though, maybe some other curlies wil have a more accurate definition!

Love Liz xx

What I do is scrunch my condish in soaking wet hair upside down from the bottom up towards my head. I then scrunch my gel in too. It definitely encourages clumpy, fatter curls! HTH!
