Default SM soufflé and smoothie question

This is mainly about drying time.

Ok. So I used both today for the first time in a while. I got great hair, but two thing bother me with this combo -

1.) my curls typically droop by the end of the day
And
2.) just as I'm dealing with today, my hair won't dry!!! Maybe it's because the clumps are better and larger so they hold water longer?

Anyone else experienced this with either of these two products? Which one causes the problem? I used more soufflé than smoothie, and I did use a gel over like I do with everything.

With the soufflé, I love it a lot. But I do notice a slight droop as well. I think since it's more of a 'jelly' substance, it could be possibly have more oil. So the oils in it might be the cause of the droopiness. I know when I use too much, my hair becomes greasy-like and does take a long time to officially dry. So if you use it maybe its the whole: 'a little goes a long way' you know?

I have the same issues with KCCC I love the curls at the beginning but I wash in the morning. Usually around 6am. I am still damp by 2 when I usually lose patients and SOTC. Then by the time I get home around 6 I am droopy. It still looks nice ish but droopy and fluffy? Guess I have decided its not for me. I have heard that the soufflé is similar so I'm not going to bother trying it . Guess I just go with a hard hold over my FSG and call it good.

I get droop with almost everything, or "softening" of the curl formation - am considering spray-on glue...

Lol Myrna! I had forgotten how much protein i need this time of year. :/

BRHG helps. Idk.

The weirdest thing for me with the soufflé and smoothie is how it just WON'T DRY! Lol!

Can't wait to clarify and cut! Must be done before we leave for England for 2 weeks this summer!
