Hahaha!

"Sorry I'm late, I forgot to check the dew point before I styled and used the wrong gel so I had to rewet and start all over again."

Friend: you have awesome curls today!
Me: Yesterday I put olive oil and honey in my hair and I left it in for an hour before rinsing it out.
Friend: You what?

Me: Today I will try x on my hair
Friend: Are you ever going to stop experimenting with your hair?

Me in front of the mirror in the bathroom at school, with my head upside down and scrunching with wet hands after being outside in the wind.
My friend brushing her hair next to me: OMG these tangles, I'm tired of them. I definitely hate brushing my hair.
Me: I only comb my hair once every three days or so, when showering
Friend: blank face

Mother: Can you brush your hair please?
Me: If you want me to look like I have been in an explosion, I can yes.

(Ps: both the friend and mother are straighthaired, obviously)

Me: "I'm just pre-pooing babe"
BF: "I don't need to know those things"

Me: "I just need to pop into the shop and get some conditioner"
BF: "But you already have that other bottle"
Me: "Yeah thats the co-wash, I just need to get my rinse out"
BF: "... yep... ok then"

BF comes home and finds me doing the ironing with a hair and face mask on...

BF: "What have you got on?"
Me: "Honey, yogurt, oil.... and same on my face"
BF: "... of cours you do..."

In the show together, boyfriend splashes my hair

Me: "DON"T YOU GET MY HAIR WET!!!!"

Tell me about it. I should've been more mindful of this fact when I got my layers put in. And now they're growing extra slow because they keep climbing up my scalp. Bouncy little buggers.

EMT: Do you know your blood type?

Me: No but I think I am 3a, except when I use KCCC I might be 4a, except sometimes I think I am 2c, when I get ringlets I'm not sure which type I am....

EMT: BLOOD type?

Asked my last SO to pick up unflavored gelatin at the store.

Him: why, what's the point of flavorless jello.

Me: it goes in my hair.

Him: You jello your hair?

Don't judge me. lol
