Day 6. I tries that conditioner only where you emulsify a bunch if conditioner and rake/scrunch it through and pixie diffuse. I used SSCC. It works pretty slick. Super soft. It's flattened a little after running around in a hot car with high dews ( second pic). Fairly amazing!

Thanks for the recipe on your other post. A few changes, but pretty similar. Was about ready to give up. Now I'm excited again!

Looks nice chupie!

I decided against SOTC last night and just pineappled and left it crunchy. Wow this morning and spritz with water and some redken body full spray. Air dried and SOTC with bare hands. Used a little hair spray for body.

I think it looks and feels nice today.

Day 3: Wash day.

I co washed with AS I AM, detangled with both knot today and SM Restorative cond. I then used SM Rest. as a wash out. Still in shower, I added a dollop size of knot today. Then I added a generous amount of KCCC. I rubbed EVOO on my scalp and sealed with GSO. I started to see the frizz form when wet, and that hasn't happened in a very long time. Once completely dry, my hair had many clumps, which was fine, but the crown frizz was more than usual. Usually crown frizz doesn't develop until 2nd or even 3rd day.

(This is from yesterday...) Overnight DT with coco oil, cowashed with Suave Coco, RO with Elucence balancing condish, applied Uncle Funky's Curly Magic topped with Dep Sport gel. My hair held up amazingly well all day- even after riding around in my brother's convertible!

Ooh, fun thread!

Okay, here is my day 1. I got a haircut on Friday, which was sorely needed, but my hair is a frizzy undefined mess today. It's a little soft - may do a few minutes of Repair Me tomorrow and see if that helps.

Today's routine - water rinsed, RO with CJAO, added more in as a LI, then styled with SSCEJ and SSFHG, topped with a wee bit of BRHG. (It occurs to me also that my FHG is pretty old, which may be contributing to my not so hot hair.)

2nd day hair today. Spirited with ouidad botanical spray and scrunched in miss jessies pillow soft curls. Put half up before spraying to refresh.

This is pretty good second day hair for me.

Oops! No pics from yesterday - I SWEAR I took some but when i sat down this morning to post them there werent any on my camera. yesterday was day 3 hair - not much different from day 2 pics really - except a bit more frizz on top. Toward the end of the day, it was looking pretty dull and yucky (to me) . I don't think anyone would have guessed it was 3rd day hair! Dh said my hair smelled great, and my mom was fooled!

Definitely make the okra gel- it's easy and AMAZING- of all the money I've spent on products, cheapie okra gel is still my ultimate HG product.

The Uncle Funky's is only available online, unless you live in Texas- they have a store(s) there.

Okay I missed yesterday which should have been day 7. So I'll post today's hair. I think this is my first day not using the dryer/diffuser at all but I could be wrong. lol.
Nothing new with products but I had some little hair clips and I clipped them in whith my hair upside down to encourage some height on top of my head and close up that weird part that is trying to form.. I dont know if it helped at all.

Day 4- 5/10. Same routine, but plopped too long. Seems like my t-shirts soak up too much if I plop longer than about 10 minutes. Not terrible, but we will go with average. Still feels super soft and zero crunch, which I love!

Last day of round 2: didn't feel like doing anything today and I forgot to post yesterday, don't do much on Sundays unless I am going somewhere. Co washed this morning but didn't put in any stylers, giving myself and my hair a break messy bun due to super fluff lol. May do this thread again later in the summer. 7 Day Challenge - who's up for it?-imageuploadedbycurltalk1371503328.785819.jpg

Day 4- 2nd day hair. Today I had work so I wanted my hair out of my face without using a scrunchie. This is a frequent protective style with one clip on each side. I just added a little GSO.

Default Day 1

Day 1 (and Day 4 of CG--also posted in another thread, sorry if it's repetitive!)

My waves are still looking looser than pre-CG but not as bad as the last few days. This is the best day I've had since starting. Today I cowashed with VO5 kiwi lime, used Joico K-pak, and conditioned with Aubrey Organics Honey Rose. I then raked through LA Looks gel (the blue) and did the rake and shake thing with a tiny bit of scrunching... plopped in flour sack towel for 20 minutes and airdried. Refreshed with Suave CC spray gel.
