hair drying help

I have 3a type hair and to make it look good I use Moroccan argon oil shampoo and conditioner then I put in oil and mousse. Afterwards I wait three hours while it dries. My question though is even though it looks okay this way, the bottom layer of hair is always flat and not curly at all which I think happens because it's crushed by the top hair. How can I fix this?
Moroccan Oil products have a lot of cones in them, so many of us wouldn't use them. Don't know how much of the problem that is.

Some things that help reduce dry time are curl towels. You can buy Curlease towels (or pick up flour sack towels) to help with plopping and scrunching out water. My favorite for scrunching out water are the Curls Like Us towels (you can use 100% cotton tee shirt.) I think both are available at CurlMart.

My underlayer is naturally straighter, it's worst if it gets too dry before I apply products, or if I use any drying method (eg. towel turban) that presses my hair against my head. Could have some long layers cut in or try clipping
