Quick question on FSG

Some quick questions...
1.without essential oils how long does FSG last for if you keep it in the fridge?
2. how many times can you reuse the flaxseeds?
3. how long does everyone boil for to get strong hold that lasts all day?
4.lastly, is there an easier method of straining or does everyone use the method with the pantyhose?

please if you look at this and know the answers, take the time to reply, much appreciated, thanks!

3. Recommended boiling time is 10min. Make a batch at 10min and boil a second batch for longer if you want to go for a thicker gel. Some apply agave which gives a stronger hold. Not sure FSG will ever be comparable to a true strong hold gel though.
4. I have a strainer fine enough to strain out the flaxseeds. In pet shops there are those fish scooper thingies, this should work. Pantyhose should work too.
5. You can add a little bit of olive oil. I wouldn't use coconut as it will solidify in the fridge.
