Blogging about low porosity

Edit: blogging about porosity in general, not just low!

I'm working on a series of blog posts about hair properties, and porosity is up for upcoming Monday. I think have plenty of sources for information, but I need an introduction that attracts the attention of readers. Generally speaking, the audience doesn't know a lot about hair, so it's something new to them. I want them to be able to associate with what I write so they're eager to learn more.

I was thinking about sketching this situation where it's raining, then describing the two extremes. In my case, light rain results in beads on my hair, whereas a shower leads to dripping, dripping, dripping because it doesn't really penetrate. That way, I can link to low porosity. However, I've tried to imagine what it must be like to have high porosity hair, and how it reacts to rain.

Could anyone help out? It rains quite often so it's definitely a situation all my readers will be familiar with. Any other suggestions are welcome, of course. I just need a recognisable situation that allows me to link to the topic of porosity.

I'm low porosity but a high-po mentioned in another thread that her hair gets sopping wet very quickly in the rain because it immediately absorbs every drop.

Other things off the top of my head:
Tangling, my hair only tangles when I'm taking it out of a braid or if I don't get it trimmed for a year . Seems like most high-po's have tangling issues.

My hair can get too smooth to hold a style, not just waves/curls, it tends to escape from braids, ponytails, up-dos, etc to the point that if I don't use a spray gel or hairspray it can look like I've been in a hurricane after just a few hours.

It tends to feel producty if I use too many, or to much LI / stylers, normal and high-po's don't seem to complain of 'producty hair' as often as low-po's. (I think?)
