Smile What is your favorite non-DIY PT?

Looking to try some new PTs, some that I can travel with so no homemade recipes please!

CJ Repair Me. It's so moisturizing, most don't have to follow up with a DT.

I think I'm the only one this isn't true for. It's certainly milder than some, but it made my hair dryer than before I applied it. I think I just don't need extra protein though .

I like the joico Kpak reconstructor, but it is loaded with mineral oil, so won't work for all.

I want to try the repair me, and also nexus emergencee.

No iHerb PTs?

Also, which of these would be more heavy on the PT and less on the DT? I don't always need to follow with a DT and I'm finding my hair getting over-conditioned and not losing moisture more and more frequently.

I broke down and purchased the "Repair me". I have wanted to try this for a long time but the price isn't very inviting. I purchased from aveyou along with a few other products and a coupon code..so not too bad.
I noticed my curls were a little droopy. I did not have buildup, wasn't greasy or anything like that. My hair just needed a little "oomph/pick me up". I used it last night for the first time. I cleansed and then left the repair me in my hair for 10 minutes, rinsed and styled as usual....Wowza!!! love at first use!!
It made my hair feel amazing and apparently it's just what my hair needed. I didn't need a separate DT, just the CJRM. It also smells great . My curls are bouncier(?), softer and curlier...and just so happy!
I really didn't have to use a whole lot of it either, a plus for me. I will use this maybe once every other week or once a month. It will just depend on how my hair is acting. I'm going to use this on my daughters as well.

I just ordered a bottle of curl fix and will try it as a leave-in.

Curlsandswirls and the others, do you add the PT to wet hair?

Yes. I cleansed my hair (CHS treatment shampoo-gentle on my hair) and squeezed out as much water as possible and then applied the Repair Me....wrapped and pinned up my wet hair..let it sit 10 minutes and rinsed out completely. I then styled as normal.
wavydaze likes this.
