Suave naturals

Has anyone used the above conditioner as a cowash? If so, how did you like it? Was it light, heavy? Smell good... Would you recommend it to a newbie?
Depends on the scent. I used the coconut scent for about 8months straight and loved it. It's high in protein though which is why I had to stop using it. I still use it from time to time.

makes my scalp very itchy but I use them as a rinse out. very cheap but their good with slip for me
I love them. I use them for cowashing. The coconut one smells great. It's not too thick so I don't use it as a rinse out. But I think it's a great line for newbies as you learn more about your hair. V05 line is great too for newbies.

Sporadic shampoo (usually 1 to 2 times a week): Kinky Curly Come Clean

Leave in: CHS Curl Keeper, or Coconut oil
Style: LA Looks Gel (the blue one), GF curl shaping spray gel
I use the coconut for cowash and leave in, with a heavier conditioner for rinse out.

I don't use it as a co-wash because I don't co-wash, but I do use the suave naturals coconut as my RO and LI. I discovered it a couple weeks ago, and that along with a low poo alone gives me pretty good results with no need for stylers most days even.
My Hair:
2c
Fine, low porosity, med/high density
BSL - going for mid back to waist

HG: currently
just washing with a low poo that contains protein (Alba Naturals Coconut) and using Suave Naturals Coconut as both a RO and LI. No stylers right now, but this gives me pretty good curl, definition, low-ish frizz, and it feels and looks good. Also an occasional PT (liking the Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula which has cones) seems to be key for me.

Modified CG since February 2013

I cowash in between shampoos. I shampoo once a week with a sulfate free shampoo that has conditioner and a detangle in it. My hair loves it.
I like the suave conditioners and use them when I co-wash. I prefer them over vo5 which give me this weird squeaky, coated feeling. The suave feels smooth, but clean.

My hair loves protein, plopping, and diffusing! Trying to find a way to style and air dry.

I've used Suave naturals nearly every day for many years as a co-wash. It works great for me. My favorite is Coconut and Everlasting Sunshine is a close second. It gets my hair clean, it conditions, great for detangling.

I use it to co-wash, no complaints! Love the price. I don't think it's heavy at all. My hair really doesn't care what I use to co-wash though - it's all about what I put in afterwards. I'd say give it a go.
