Default Holy clumping, Batman!

My hair usually winds up in lots of little curls. It works for my hair, but I decided to see what clumping was all about, so I tried a modified super soaker. I was hoping it would help with product application as well, since I have so much trouble getting even distribution.

After applying my leave-in, I briefly ran the shower over my head, and then after applying BRHG I did the same. I now have one big curl on each side of my head, lol. The back looks more "normal" to me.

I'll see how this dries. I may or may not like the way it turns out, but it's going to be interesting,. After I put in the BRHG I could feel an immediate stickiness that I never felt doing it without the extra water. Maybe I washed out too much leave-in. I'll see how it goes and experiment some more.

A few notes as it's drying:

- The one curl on each side of my head broke up a litte. One one side it's a two curl helix and it's a little more broken up on the other. The back has a few large ringlets.
- I still stink at product distribution - I have some hard BRHG crunch and lots of spots with none.
- I think the big BRHG-glued clump is going to be very hard to SOTC.
- I think the large clumps are making it dry even slower, but maybe it'll be dry after my lunchtime walk outside. It's warmer today.

Bigger clumps definitely dry slower.

Eh, I don't know about the results. I went for my lunchtime walk. It's warm (around 75F) and quite breezy, so my hair dried and did a bunch of declumping on its own. I think the mega-clumps on the sides/front look weird.

On the plus side, I have very little frizz today, but the weather is being cooperative (dewpoint=62) as well. If I try this again, I might rewet after leave-in but not after adding the gel.

I prefer the volume I get from my less-clumped curls, I think.

I added a before and after. The before is when it was still quite wet. You can see a mega-clump. In the after, you can see the fat waves it turned into.

OMG!!!! I love it both ways!! Your hair is stunning!! I'm so jealous!
