Thanks Shelly! Have you tried boiling marshmallow root alone for detangling? wow, I was just reviewing the siggies and I realized the fine and medium girls' hairballs totally mine too. Maybe it's just the baby fine fractal curl girls that wind up with those teeny tiny hairballs that are so cute. As far as hairballs go.

P.S. I found some hair under the area rug today so I know at least a few strands manage to slip out of my curly nest prior to detangling.

This is too funny. It sucks I didn't read this earlier when I had washed my hair. However, when I do finger detangle and have my shedded hair in my hand, I actually roll it up like a ball. I then place it on the shower ledge so no hair goes down the sink. I think it's good to prevent any plumbing problems.

Well, here is my *eeew* hair ball. I've always been a shedder and would leave hairs all over the sink, clothes and floor before going CG. It always seems I shed way too much but oh well. this pic is from after washing 2nd day hair that was quite tangly!

Love this thread lol. This is mine from last night. I prepoo'd with coconut oil so some of my shedding came out then. Maybe increase my hair ball by 1/3 not as bad as it used to be. I would find hair all over the place when I was brushing and straightening. This is much better! Can we compare hairballs?-imageuploadedbycurltalk1371743863.577617.jpg

I've had less shedding since switching to ALL DevaCurl products. I know they cost more but I definitely like seeing less hair on the ledge during my shower.

This is today's hairball, it's a bit more than usual.
I forgot to mention in my previous post that I detangle daily.

Same here! My drain is clear now. I should've started this years ago. That way I wouldn't have to run a snake every three years.

That happens to me too! I can have one day and lose maybe 25% more for seemingly no reason. Usually the following hairball is 25% smaller than a regular hairball so it balances out.
