Default Co-Wash & Rinse Out - Do you use different products?

For a while I have been using Deva No Poo and Deva One C. My hair seems to be a little weighed down, itís not clumping very much, seems to have some build up and overall hasnít been as great lately so I have decided to try to change things up a bit.

I am looking into some new conditioners which I posted about but I am trying to figure out if people use one product to Co-Wash and another for a rinse out? Or do the majority of people use the same? Especially if you are using a high-end conditioner, would you use a different product as a leave in?

Can you please let me know your routine and if you use a different Co-Wash product what are you using?

Thanks so much!

I like a light co-wash and leave-in. Suave Naturals Coconut works well for me. I use a richer rinse-out because I have one section that tangles and the Suave doesn't detangle well enough for me.

In the winter, I suspect I'll need a heavier leave-in.

I use a cheap, light, simple, lathering wash out (Inecto) because I like a squeaky clean feeling, and a rich leave in usually containing an oil and often protein because I am dealing with porous colour treated hair. So never use the same product for both. I do often skip rinse out and go straight to leave in tho, so most times only two conditioners not three. Personally I'd be more likely to use a pricey high end product as a leave in than a co-wash or rinse out, always seems a waste to flush a high quality conditioner down the drain after five minutes.

CO-wash: Inecto coconut
Treatments: Komaza Matani, coconut oil, Hairveda Sitrinillah
Leave in: Fructis Sleek & Shine (old), Gliss ultimate volume, Inecto argan
Styler: Umberto Giannini jelly, Boots Essentials gel
Experimenting with: going back to basics

I have been using my devacare for cowashing, rinse out, and leave in mixed with a little water in my palm. I have wondered if its a good idea, but my hair and scalp seem to like it. Once a week, just to change things up, I will use my DT as a rinse out, and then use my devacare for a leave in, and my hair really likes that also.

I alternate depending on how my hair feels. Sometimes I co-wash with a light conditioner or a no-poo cleanser and follow with a heavier conditioner and a separate leave-in. I have used one conditioner as a co-wash, rinse out and leave with success as well like Tresemme naturals, elucence moisture balance, Darcy's pumpkin conditioner or a few other favorites. It also depends on how much time I have.

I usually use a cheap condish to cowash since I use a lot to achieve a slight lather (suave, V05, Yes To Cukes) and a better quality one to condition/ rinse out/ leave in (Regis olive oil, Shea Moisture, Darcy's pumpkin, One C, Elucence, Curly Kinks, etc).
