Exclamation What Should I Use In My Hair?

Pleeeez some one help me!!!!!!!!!!! my hair maybe wavy BUT it is really thick! and nothing I've tried works! i am mixed with black,Mexican,Filipino and Hawaiian... you might think oh she's over exaggerating ,But i'm not my hair is really thick.i was in the 8th grade when i lost my big waves/ curls. I jumped in the pool while my hair was straightened and ever since that day my big deep waves and curls have diminished. i'm now going into my junior year and i haven't been able to revive my hair some one help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'll have to figure out your hair properties first in order to solicit advice.

Try here first: Live Curly Live Free - Curly Hair Basics They also do a hair analysis if you can't figure it out. Once you have your properties, try looking around the board for members with similar properties, and see what they're using (in their siggies).

If your curls have not been right since the day you straightened and jumped in the pool TBH the flat iron is likely more at fault than the pool water. Although chlorine won't help your hair's health you cannot kill your hair in one swim, you absolutely can in one session with heat, all you need to do is use too high a temperature or straighten even slightly damp hair. Have you stopped flat ironing now?
