Default Blasphemy!

I once was a lover of conditioner only styling in the quest of a miracle curl cream, but I actually think I found a gel that makes my hair look so awesome it's worth my a little crunch. I was also a bit heavy handed. Anyway, I didn't use it today and my hair looks so lack luster in comparison.

Gels have never really helped with clumping for me, at least not in a good way, so this is new for me.

Gel gives me great definition, but dries my hair terribly

There is nothing is this product that would dry my hair out and I'd never skip a LI. I think there is a difference to your hair not feeling super soft and it actually being dry.

I have never loved gels until embarking on this CG journey. Now I can't live without them.

I tried every cream, mousse, and jelly under the sun trying to avoid the dreaded crunch. I now realize I absolutely need the crunch. Now that I know how to SOTC I'm okay with it and have been more successful with second day hair.

I'm glad you found one that works for you!

Is the gel you like the styler in your siggie? Otherwise, what gel is it that you found so great?

Yeah it's the one in my signature. Actually, since using it again and not being so heavy handed, it's giving me nice hold without much crunch.

There are a lot of great light gels-gelees out there. This one just happens to be aloe free, which I need for my skin allergies.
