CJ CCC Lite vs. Recoil?

I have been using ReCoil for years and feel like it might be time to switch things up a bit.

If you use or have tried both products could you please tell me which worked better for you? Or is there another Curl Crème that you like even better?

My hair is fine/normal/normal

I like both a lot. I often use them together. I think CJ CCCC Lite is about the best curl creme there is. However, Recoil is equally good, but different. It has mag sulfate so it can be drying to the hair but it really encourages curl.

The CCCC Lite might be your best bet for very humid days when your hair is likely to curl more easily. Also, I mix both of these with CIAB and get good results. All 3 are excellent products.

If you try them, please post back with your results. :pl:

What she said! lol, I like them both. I've been using the CCCCL in place of my leave-in conditioner, and then putting gel on top. I don't know if it's because of the CJ, but I am pulling off 2nd day hair much more often than before! I can also use the CJ to smooth frizzies on 2nd day hair, but I can't use the Recoil this way for some reason. I like Recoil as well, but I agree- the CCCCL is different....and definitely worth a try!

Hmmm I'm also fine/normal/normal. I went to LCLF this weekend and Tifanny used CJ CCCC Lite followed by CIAB and I was not impressed with the products at all. (I liked the haircut, just not the products!) Didn't have much hold but then left a producty feel as well. I can't tell if it was the CCCC or CIAB that didn't agree with my hair or just the combination of the two.

Haven't tried AG Re:coil because of the glycerin. It's on my wishlist though, one day when I don't live in very high dews.
