Appointment at Aveda salon this Saturday - product questions

I have researched the aveda product line and found a few things that I think are CG friendly, here's my list:

Lecithin, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Fragrance (Parfum), Glycerin, Maltodextrin, Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Methylparaben, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone

Rosemary mint
aqueous extracts of organic rosemary and peppermint, polyquaternium-11 (conditioning agent), cetyl alcohol (coconut), glyceryl stearate (coconut), stearalkonium chloride (mixed plant oils), vinegar (grain), olealkonium chloride (mixed plant), aveda's own pure, natural preservative fragrance containing: peppermint, geranium and many other pure flower and plant essences, tocopherol (vitamin e, antioxidant), jojoba oil, oryzanol (natural sun filter), glycerin (coconut), hydrolyzed hair keratin (human hair protein), grapefruit seed extract, diazolidinyl urea (preservative)

Stylers:
Phomollient

Flaxseed and Aloe Gel
aqueous (water, aqua purificata, purified) extracts: linum usitatissimum (linseed) seed extract, aloe barbadensis leaf, alcohol denat., pvp/va copolymer, polyquaternium-11, hydroxyethylcellulose, peg-40 hydrogenated castor oil, oryzanol, tocopherol, citrus grandis (grapefruit) seed extract, peg-12 dimethicone, polyquaternium-7, glycerin, fragrance (parfum), geraniol, linalool, citronellol, maltodextrin, diazolidinyl urea.

I have an appointment for highlights this saturday and want to be sure that I stay CG. I am wondering how they would feel about a cowash following my color treatment? Which should I have her use? The shampoo girl there is so nice, I can't imagine that she wouldn't be ok with it unless she's never done it. And she gives an awesome head massage so I'm sure that she will do a good job cleansing my hair. I could bring my devacare low-poo, but I prefer to only use that once per week following my DT which I will do Thursday night.

I also wonder how my hair will react to the stylers, which I figured I would let my stylist use and then have her diffuse. Suggestions for using these products? I thought possibly I could have her use the phomollient first and follow with the flax seed. I figure with all the humectants I will probably end up with terrible frizz, but I don't mind as long as I stay CG. I am actually looking forward to the experiment!
Type 2B - 3A
Med-High Porosity (partial highlights), medium & corse mixed textures

CG Day 1: May 16, 2013

Poo: CJ Daily Fix Cleansing Condish (as needed)
CO: Tresemme Naturals Vibrantly Smooth Condish
RO&LI: CJ Beauticurls Argan & Olive Oil Daily Hair Condish
Styling: CJ Pattern Pusha or FSG, TRESemme Flawless Curls - Bouncy Curls Defining Gel, Giovanni LANaturals HardHold Gel (canopy only)
DT: CJ Curl Rehab, Coconut oil, SS Repairing PT

Techniques: Scrunch-n-pump, tshirt wrap
Of those, the cherry bark condish looks ok. The mint one has glycerin and polyquats too high on the list. Stay away from the phemollient if you're trying to avoid glycerin, I've looked at the flax gel before, everything is CG except the drying alcohol high on the list. I didn't try it for that reason, but all of these have lots of polyquats and glycerin.

I think none of these really jump out as superior in any way to other things that are probably a lot cheaper!
2C/ Coarse/ Normal porosity/ SW Florida/ Salt & Pepper
Cleanse: CJ Daily Fix, JC Cleansing Cream, TJ Tea Tree Condish
Condish: JC Too Shea, CJ Curl Rehab (both as RO & LI)
Stylers: UFD CM, CJ PP, JC Spiralicious, Darcy's Cream Gel & Cocoa bean whip

Of the four I'd give your stylist free reign to select what she thinks is best for your hair type; they know how their products play together, how they work with different hair types or after a colour service.

Do a coconut oil soak before saturday if you can that will help protect from structural protein loss, conditioner actually washes that out better than shampoo IME.
2a-2c, medium texture, porous/ colour treated. Three years CG. Past bra strap length heading for waist.

CO-wash: Inecto coconut/ Elvive Volume Collagen
Treatments: Komaza Care Matani, coconut/ sweet almond/ fractionated coconut oils, Hairveda Sitrinillah
Leave in: Fructis Sleek & Shine (old), Gliss Ultimate Volume, various Elvive
Styler: Umberto Giannini jelly, Au Naturale styling gelee
Flour sack towel, pixie diffuse or air dry.
Experimenting with: benign neglect

I will follow up either Sunday or Monday night (if I can make it, I'm really going to try!) with another round of PT and DT.

I normally use Inecto but have used GUM Juice florida orange conditioner including this very morning (works best if you predilute), I would imagine Suave or V05 work fine, they seem to be well loved in the US..

You can also put the conditioner on over the top of the oil. clip and leave to soak rather than just massage and rinse, or even mix some conditioner with your oil before you apply it. A little conditioner is not going to stop the lauric acid penetrating, nor will some coconut oil residue prevent the dye from taking because bleach/ peroxide/ alkaline chemicals can at through anything including sebum and silicone build up (both oils).

FWIW, my last three Aveda appointments (different salons, different stylists) haven't gone very we. None of the stylists were comfortable just co-washing. Assert yourself better than I did!!
