Why do you need to inform her, did your friend ask for your advice? Maybe invite your friend to join the CurlTalk forum?

In my personal experience trying to tell "know all's" they are wrong is the last thing I will ever do
But you could direct her to this site for advise on her growing hair out problems without offending her?

You can tell her what you don't like about her "hair methods" without actually saying it to her directly. If the topic of hair ever comes up, tell her all of your ideas & the things you've learned since going natural. Tell her the things that you're against, and what you don't like going in YOUR own hair. By doing this, she'll get the picture & understand what you don't like. That should solve the problem of her putting products in your hair that you don't want at least. She probably won't agree with what you have to say, but at least you were able to get it off your chest without offending her.

I'm inclined to let know it alls be know it alls, it's a fitting punishment. If her lack of hair growth isn't enough to get her to open her mind, I wouldn't waste my breath trying to convince her that she's wrong.

If she asked why she couldn't do my hair again, I would simply say her methods are bad. I'm a blunt person.
