The Body Shop Products

Today I washed my hair again. I used a sulfate poo first, then my low-poo, then AO GPB as RO. Styled it with FSG and my hair is happy again.

I'm curious how the body shop curl cream works by itself.

I've been lazy lately so mostly doing conditioner-only styling. I low-poo about 3 times a week (alternate SM Coconut Hibiscus and Giovanni TTTT), use a rinse out (usually Nature's Gate Jojoba), then rake leave-in (SM CH C&S Milk or SS Caitlin's), sometimes scrunch a little and air dry. I posted pics for my conditioner-only styling here: Does anyone with loose waves find clumps DON'T work for them?. I haven't been encouraging curl/wave recently so my results are looser (my hair stretches a lot on day 2 and 3), but this is the laziest styling for me.

*Used to be low-porosity, but I lightened my hair 1-2 shades, so I may be normal-porosity now.

Wavydaze, sorry for my late reply. I was on a road trip to the UK to attend Top Gear recordings. I think your hair looks gorgeous!

With regards to the curl boost, I used it again today because I didn't have any FSG (I can't take it with me while travelling, and I still haven't ordered any Jessicurl Rockin' Ringlets to try either), so curl boost it was. Originally I figured I would just make a french braid but it's extremely warm in the Netherlands right now so I do that quite often these days. My hair really needed a break and the temperature in the UK was much lower so I just let it loose. Today I re-wet my hair with a spray bottle, scrunched one pump of the curl boost stuff on each side of my hair (so two pumps in total), plopped for 15 min and had quite decent hair actually! I was pleasantly surprised, though not sure whether I really like the stuff. We'll have to see.

The day before I wet my hair with the showerhead, applied FSG, plopped for 30 min. Day before that was washing day, so also FSG and plopped for 60 min.

It sound like the TBS Cottonseed cream is okay... I pay attention to what you're using because we have similar properties.

I remember when my hair was just awful while I was working in KL, I had no idea what to put in it and I bought flaxseed oil capsules (terrible smell, terrible idea) from a pharmacy and the Grapeseed serum (had cones, barely did anything) and even the hemp hand oil (made my hair greasy) from the Body Shop. Well now I know I have a decent option from the Body Shop as far as stylers, which is good since they're ubiquitous. Thanks for the heads-up!

I tried the banana conditioner and it went back. I had to use waaay too much to get it to even sort of work and the honey built up in my hair. After a while my hair got that dry, crunchy feeling honey seems to create.

The Rainforest Moisture one is too oil heavy and it smells terrible, so I'm not tempted to try it.
