Has anyone tried any of these stylers? And which one should I try?

Hi curlies,

I'm still having trouble with finding my ideal stylers...

I'm fine haired, normal porosity, normal elasticity and a 2c and my hair unfortunately gets easily weighed down. I have found a couple of gels on Iherb that seem to be good and seem to be CG.

Has anyone tried any of those? And which of those would be better for my hair?
(Ingredients are written if you scroll down)

I especially am looking at the Jason gel, since it seems to be made with flaxseeds and I'm hoping this might be a storebought alternative for FSG or something like that...

The AO and Jason have alcohol in them which may be drying. It's higher up on the list on the Jason one... it's too bad, I was looking at that one too.

The other ones should be ok but I haven't tried. Let me know how it goes for you if you decide to get them!

The Jason gel has witch hazel as the second ingredient--also drying. I didn't care for the Giovanni gel, either. I think it was a bit drying, too. The AO B-5 and Mandarin Magic (that you don't have) are usually nice, even with the alcohol.
3a (Corkicelli), highlighted, fine, low porosity

I have the giovanni naturals gel and honestly don't really like it. It is REALLY thick, and I often end up watering it down in my palm with a few drops of water which I think defeats the purpose for my use which is canopy frizz control. I like it best for slicking my hair back for top knots for second and third day hair. I can use it as is for this purpose and will keep using it for that, at least until something better comes along.

That being said, I have not used it on sopping wet hair in the shower. I have thought it might work better that way since I always want to water it down. Right now I am trying out other things so I probably won't try this any time soon.
