Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and my curls!

I have noticed that, after my second pregnancy, my curl pattern has really weakened. I used to be a solid 3a, even before CG. In fact, the reason I started researching curly hair was to help my lackluster curls. Now I'm a 2c, though my hair is much less shiny and defined.

I'm also breastfeeding my 15 month old and plan on weaning before he's 2--I'm thinking the hormones involved with lactation are affecting my hair...I am taking a prenatal vitamin still and drink lots water. I also eat very healthy, for the most part

So, I'm wondering, has anyone else experienced this? Did your hair change back after breastfeeding?
I had a post about this very subject in the pregnancy and parenting board if you want to do a search.

The same thing happened to me, and 5 years later my hair still doesn't look the way it used to and neither does my body .

The upside is that I can blow it out in a fraction of the time it used to take me, but I really just want my curls back.
If you got nothing to bring to the table - don't even bother sitting down.
I have not experienced this and breastfed my son till he was 14 months. Now I am breastfeeding my 3 month daughter till 14 months as well or longer. No pattern change with that but what has changed my curls to 3b is the curly girl method

Curl pattern can be hormones, gloss should not really be.

Review your overall diet, no pill makes up for imbalances or deficiencies there. Prenatals by their very nature only contain a limited range of micronutrients. Don't mean to be rude but I work in lifestyle healthcare and I rarely see someone who claims to be eating healthily that is actually eating a truly balanced, varied wholefood diet. Over the course of a pregnancy and lengthy breast feeding it can add up.

People overly focus on certain food groups, for example vegetables and lean muscle meat, but fail to eat enough from other nutrient dense foodstuffs - oily fish, shellfish like molluscs, organ meats, dairy, nuts and seeds, beans and lentils.
