I am LOVING DevaCurl B'Leave In

When I first tried this stuff, I hated it. I think maybe it was because I wasn't using enough or that I wasn't using a LI underneath.

I've been playing with it the past few days and it REALLY boosts my waves. As long as I use a LI under, my hair feels soft and silky. With B'Leave In, I've been getting root curl and some spirals!

I have no idea what ingredient my hair is loving so much.
2A/B. Mix of fine, medium, and coarse (mostly medium). Dense. Mix of normal and high porosity.
Dry climate.

How much are you using? Wet hair? (Dripping? Damp?) I'm on the app, what are your properties? Dews?

I am not liking it at all, my stylist said it's love it, so I'm borrowing any tips I can get. I don't notice any curl enhancing with it. I get flat and stringy

Dripping wet... Basically post-shower, I flip my head over and ruffle my roots (so my hair doesn't stick to my head weird). I don't squeeze or blot out any water. I scrunch in my LI then I take a small puddle of B'Leave In and smooth it over the underside and canopy of my hair. I then scrunch in a few more small puddles... Sometimes I follow with gel, sometimes not.

I plan on trying it on wrung out hair, mixed with gel, etc. but haven't yet.

My hair is fine (maybe medium, not sure), very porous, very dense, and 2a/b/c mix.

I'll have to try it! Currently, I'm loving the DevaCurl Light Defining Gel.
Curly and PROUD!!!

My hair has a mix of low/med/high porosity, and it's medium textured (some are still fine, though!)

So I've been experimenting the last couple of days. Corrina also gave some tips in another thread, and I'm starting to think this is good. I was ready to give it away but today I tried it almost alone, just a tiny bit of spray gel (deva), my curls look much better, I'm finally seeing the curl enhancement from it. I'm going to keep using it and see how it goes. Thanks again (to you and corrina)

I use it on wet hair, mixed with gel.

I've also just scrunched about a large gumball sized amount into dry hair to refresh the curl.
Peace,
Morgan

Hmmm, for some reason I thought B'Leave In was a leave-in on its own (by the name....?)

I've been tempted to try this!

It's a curl booster and volumizer
I always thought it was a leave in, too

Does have any detangling properties? That's primarily why I use leave-in, but I definitely need volume. Maybe this could do both?

No, it's not a leave in.

If you're looking for a silicone free detangler, Curly Hair Solutions product, SLIP, a spray on leave-in conditioner, works extremely well.

Thanks for the clarification. I will try to pick this up at ULTA next time I see a coupon.

I don't think Ulta carries the Curly Hair Solutions products. I ran out of Curl Keeper while I was visiting my mother, who lives near an Ulta, and I ended up ordering it from Amazon.

reviving an old thread to say that a lot of the reviews on Curlmart for B'Leave In say this product is a leave in PT that goes on top of Leave in Conditioner. Supposedly it does not have hold of its own so also needs to be used with one of the Deva gels for hold.

This is how I plan to try it when I can get some.
