Wanting to curl or straighten hair, but still use CG approved products. Do i skip heat protectant, or if i need it, should i start shampooing my hair with a sulfate shampoo?

Always use heat protecting products/ ingredients - CG friendly ones include glycerin, propylene glycol, hydrolysed protein and some polyquats. You do not need sulphates to remove silicones, cocoamidopropyl betaine will remove them fine.

2a-2c, medium texture, porous/ colour treated. Three years CG. Past bra strap length heading for waist.

CO-wash: Inecto coconut/ Elvive Volume Collagen
Treatments: Komaza Care Matani, coconut/ sweet almond/ fractionated coconut oils, Hairveda Sitrinillah
Leave in: Fructis Sleek & Shine (old), Gliss Ultimate Volume, various Elvive
Styler: Umberto Giannini jelly, Au Naturale styling gelee
Flour sack towel, pixie diffuse or air dry.
Experimenting with: benign neglect
So if i buy any ordinary heat protectant, the low poo will take it out?

Yes the YTCucumbers should take care of it.
fine - normal porosity*?- medium density - normal elasticity. Hard water. SoCal.
*Used to be low-porosity, but I lightened my hair 1-2 shades, so I may be normal-porosity now.

New climate! Current favorites:
Low-poo: CJ Gentle Cleansing Shampoo, Giovanni SaS
RO: V05 Kiwi Lime
Styler: UFD CM (old formula), FSG + CNPF
PT: CJ Repair Me, IAgirl's gelatine

Experimenting with: JC Confident Coils, JC Rockin Ringlets, CJ CIAB, gelatin gel

iherb discount code: CFN646
What about silicones in conditioners, and other products? and if im supposed to avoid humectants, is aloe a bad idea to try in a styling product or fsg (wanting to really see if my hair likes or dislikes it, but if its a major humectant that will fluff up my hair, then ill pass!)
