i'm back from the unknown =)- edit with pics

hey everyone..

some of you probably remember me i used to get around posting here every day or so but i've been missing in action for months now (maybe 3?) sorry ive just been really busy and haven't been online as much and then dealt with school, stress,etc..hope you all forgive me

<3

i've actually been straightening my hair quite often with winter because it's easier and my hair since decemberish wasn't looking as good curly it was just messy...i've been taking good care of it with deep conditionings though (Ouidad but i just ran out and now have curl ecstasy)...

it's in desperate need to be colored and softened again, i'm getting it recolored at ouidad the 1st week of march and probably softened a month after that...i also need a trim really bad :?

all ive been using in my hair lately is curls milkshake/radiant ringlet gloss and for the past week or so since i just got it from qvc the Ojon rare harvest shampoo & conditioner and their restorative hair treatment..it's amazing i love it more then ouidad and everyone who knows me probably didn't think that was possible!!

the treatment is an oil and i use it every day after i towel dry and on dry hair even as a styler- it's fantastic my hair is so soft and silky and i see the overall condition is actually improving..plus it smells wonderful

anyway im sorry i disappeared again but im going to try and stay on track this time :)

Hey there! Welcome back!
Don't be sorry, life happens :D
I don't know about you but I'll be glad when the spring rains start

hockeymomof3 02-24-2007 08:20 PM

Hey there! Nice to see you around :) I've been wondering how things have been!

tooj68 02-24-2007 09:53 PM

Hi!
Hey, how has your hair been doing since you had some of your curls softened?

Welcome back, we missed you! :D

A12curlyq 02-24-2007 10:06 PM

From looking at your pictures...

You're hair is so pretty!

I have hair envy big time!

Ladydncing 02-25-2007 07:01 AM

Well Hello, Hello!
Of course we remember you! :)
How can we forget those gorgeous
curls? 8) Glad you're back!

Ditto, how is the hair doing after the
softening?

Snarls 02-25-2007 12:06 PM

Welcome back!

Someone is going to have to splain to me what is this softening?

embudini 02-25-2007 12:49 PM

Welcome back! I was wondering where you went. :)

BeachBlondeWavie 02-25-2007 01:23 PM

thank you everyone..i will post new pics soon i promise

i still love the softening it just made my hair less frizzier and easier to straighten but now thats its been a few months (almost 5-wow that went fast) the front of my hairline is starting to look a little funky again so i am going to just get that touched up...

i'm going to ouidad on march 6 for a color touch up (i got it done the beginning of dec n my hair grew like 2 inches already) so ill see how long i have to wait between color and softening

i still highly reccomend softening...i did a whole post explaining how it was and what it is for those curious, maybe search my name or softening on the forms? its a process only the ouidad salon in nyc offers thats like relaxing but not nearly as harsh and dosnt make haitr straight, just a little looser..totally worth it if you have weirdly shqaped curls/waves like i did

thank you for hair compliments everyonee :D my hairs longer now and im loving it but i really need a trim the ends are getting soo bad, especially in the front

Ab-star 02-25-2007 04:10 PM

Hey, welcome back! I have been straightening my hair a lot this winter, more than I want, but the weather is making my curls look so blah. Don't worry...spring is just around the corner!!

tooj68 02-25-2007 06:03 PM

BBW--May I ask how much the softening costs?

I have annoyingly tight curls ONLY in the front and I would soooo like to loosen them a bit. The rest of my hair I am very happy with. LMK. Thank you! :D

BeachBlondeWavie 02-26-2007 12:03 PM

softening for just the front of the head costs $100 plus to style it at ouidad is $65 so $165 total..whole head softening was around $300 but it's soo worth it!!

i can't wait for spring & summer!!

juvjoy 02-27-2007 01:44 PM

Hi Welcome back! Ha ha! I straightened my hair today (just cuz I felt like it). And you wouldn't believe the compliments - argh! I kinda hate that but it's nice to know it can look decent both ways!

I want to see pics of your hair straight!!!
Kim

idk why my hair color looks soo difference in these 2, must be the lighting lol

medusahair 02-27-2007 04:49 PM

Wow you can tell in the straight pics how long your hair is!
Your hair looks great! It's already wavy, what did you say you were getting done to it?

BeachBlondeWavie 02-27-2007 05:08 PM

i get it softened- basically the roots and front is more curlier then the rest so its a process to loosen them up and match the rest of my hair :) u cant really tell in the wavy pics the front is curlier b/c i ironed it a little LoL

thanks for compliments :D

ive been using mainly curls and ojon and i think the fact they are natural and cg products really made my hair grow faster-that and i take gnc ultra nourish hair pills, biotin, silica and NV pills lol

hockeymomof3 02-27-2007 05:08 PM

You and your hair look amazing! I so wish I could get that length.

medusahair 02-27-2007 05:13 PM

Ah that's right you aren't shooting for as curly as you can get it. My mind just wouldn't grasp that

Curls changed some formulas lately so be sure yours doesn't have cones. Those vitamins sure help, mine is growing so fast right now! I have hair shock it's changing so fast wooohoo

Oooh I will have to go get some of the gnc vitamins at least to start...I've just been taking a multivitamin.

medusahair 02-27-2007 06:26 PM

GirlFriend you need some! That GNC Ultra Nourishair is great!
Two a day keeps the slow growth away! At least for me it does.
Now I wonder if I can get mine as long as Beach's?
