Hair Growth??

I got a buzz cut in November of 2012 as a way going natural. I recently did a length check (no flat iron just gently stretched out a curl to measure). It's only been 9 months.

My hair has grown to a length of (5 1/2 inches) since then.
Is a good amount of growth for that amount of time?

**I've been following the CG method slightly. using suave naturals Along with suave clarifying shampoo when needed (1 or 2 a month). I haven't found a sulfate-free shampoo that works w/ my hair yet.

you cant really speed hair growth, though you can do stuff that does help with healthy growth. check your diet, lots of water and healthy vegies, protiens is a must. I used to take biotian, its great it helps, will start it again, msn is good as well, helps with hair growth and stregth.
ive got a scalp stimulater hair growth oil mixture, wich is great i love it, it really works.
how ever, nothing works over night, hair grows in stages, with the diet, biotian and msn, you should give 6 weeks to work. though with the oil mixture, you can notice it sooner

Half an inch a month is average so you are above that.
