Question Curl enhancers

Questions about curl enhancers come up often but I'm still unclear about which products fall into this category. Seems like people refer to products interchangeably as gels, jellies and enhancers. As we head into cooler weather here in the Northeast dew points will be falling - I'd like to layer a curl enhancer between LI and gel/jelly. What do you use for a curl enhancer?

AG Recoil
I still have a bottle of Paul Mitchell Round Trip

I add magnesium oil to my fsg which adds curl enhancement

I definitely need to be more regular in using an enhancement. Cant wait to see what others use

I always am too. And from what I have gradually learned it seems quite different for everyone. I will say in general it seems an "enhancer" is anything that helps define the curl. But there are a ton of products called enhancers that people use like a leave in or use like a gel. So sadly overall it's trial and error if products to see what works best for you.

do you think adding mag oil to AG recoil would boost the curl enhancing of both? I have both and may experiment with a drop of mag oil in my recoil

ReCoil contains magnesium sulfate. Magnesium oil is magnesium chloride.
I use mag oil because I find it less drying than epsom salts (magnesium sulfate)

You can use Softee curl activating gels. I use the aloe Vera gel & I love it.

Thanks for these ideas. Any other thoughts about enhancers?

I'm absolutely in LOVE with CJ pattern Pusha. Love it as a clunker definer. Love it watered down as a refresher. I have not had a bad day since in started using it two weeks ago and I have had some if my best days.

I see a curl enhancer as just that, some that encourages your curls but doesn't necessarily have much hold.

I really like Curly Kinks Coil Jam, KCCC, Uncle Funky Daughter's Curly Magic, and CJ CCCC.

Another good one to try is JCCC. Drugstore brand Shea Moisture CES and the milk are good to try.
