Default Tigi Catwalk - Curls Rock?

Hey, a few weeks ago I texturised my hair, and I couldn't honestly be happier with the results. I was a 4a, but now I have lovely 3c, 3b ends, clumpy, soft, shiny curls, SO much nicer than before. It reduced volume wonderfully without making my hair thin and straggly, and allows me to do anything I like with my hair - I love it!

But anywho, I need some sort of curl refresher for mornings and when I want to get a bit of frizz controll without greasyness. I've seen the TIGI haircare range and it looks really great! The catwalk Curls Rock Curl Booster spray looks really good, and so does the Curl Amplifyer. I'm just wondering if anyone has tried these - Good or Bad?

If anyone can help, thanks

I've used the Curl Amplifyer before. However, I stopped using it once I gave up sulfates. Because it has dimethicone in it, it built up in my hair (I didn't pay attention to the ingredients until a week of use and my hair was nasty). However, if you plan to continue using shampoo with SLS or ALS (more gentle shampoos didn't remove the stuff for me), then it's certainly worth a try. I liked what it did to my hair - good hold and curl formation. I wish I hadn't tossed my bottle of it . . . I could have sent it your way.

I use the booster spray - so far, that's worked better for me than anything else I've tried, including some much higher-end products.

A few years ago, maybe 4, I remember there being a tigi curls rock craze on the hair board. It seemed that every other praise I was reading was for curls rock, etc. I tried it, and I didn't like how it has the texture of marshmellow fluff, and is LOADED with cones and hard to rinse out, and required a full blown sulfate shampoo, for me atleast.

So for me, bad. I am not sure what I did with my bottle.

I tried it (amplifier) a couple times before I tried CG-and it either did nothing or it would make my hair heavy and greasy, depending on how much I used-I couldn't find a happy medium.

I have a much weaker curl than you do, however, so it may work well for you, especially if you are using a sulfate poo.

I've only tried the Curls Rock Amplifier. I was tempted to buy the leave-in but I didn't. I like the Amplifier. I thought it gave me good hold and definition. I have a pic in my album (curly journey 07) that shows my hair and CRA. This is the only product that I've tried from Curls Rock Line.

ps. If you get this, a little goes a long way. I have thick hair that is almost BSL and I use 2 to 2.5 pumps on soaking wet hair.

Amplifier worked really well for me, the only reason I don't use it anymore is because I'm trying to do everything cheaper (new baby on the way).

Because the amplifier was so good I forked out money on the whole range only to be dissapointed.
The rest of the products dried my hair out.

Thank you for letting us know. I'll stick to the amplifier. I don't see myself going for their other products.

I used the Curls Rock Amp for several years many years ago, cocktailed it w/a gel. I tried it again just recently and it felt like I was putting glue in my hair. I returned the the product and tried out the root boost, hated it. I had the worst hair day ever! But, it's quite possible I didn't use the product correctly or used too much. I've heard only use curls rock amp on soaking wet hair, but my product rep uses it on hers when it's 95% dry. Good luck.

Amplifier is my favorite. My sig says it all.
I hope they never change the formula.

I also like the Curls Rock shampoo and when I run low on conditioner I'm going to try that too.

Wow, thanks everyone for all the replies! I'm not really bothered about shampooing using sulphates, so I think i'll give it a go, along with the curl booster. My hair tends to drink up gluey like stuff, so I think it'll love it.

Thanks again!

Mm I have to say, I really love it! It makes my hair clump really nicely, and the texture is, I admit, sticky, but that's great for me! I pair it with the Curls rock Curl booster, which is great after the amplifyer, and also brill for reviving curls in the morning!
