Default Gel without polyquat-4

I am in search of a medium to hard-hold gel without polyquat-4. It seems like every gel I find has that darn PQ-4 in it! Those of you who avoid polyquat-4 or just polyquats in general, what are some of your favorite gels?

Volumax Mega (from Sallys)

I think one of the CJ ones (Pattern Pusha?) is medium hold & polyquat-free.

The LA Looks gels?

I don't use polyquats, especially 4, 7 and 10. You may want to try some of the "jelly" products in my signature.

PQ4 and I don't get along. None of the gels in my signature have it. The GVP LSG does have PQ10 however.

A few others I have that aren't in my sig are Kiss my face Upper Management (not hard hold), LA Looks gels, BRHG, Volumax Mega gel, and Deva arc angel (does have a PQ, but can't remember which one- but it's not 4).

I have and like CJ PP, but on its own it just doesn't have enough hold for me. I imagine, that layered under a harder hold gel, it would be amazing.

I have only tried one LAL gel, the Polish Perfect one. It was a fail, and oh the stink that gel gave off. Can you recommend a different one, or are they all pretty similar?

So far polyquat 4 seems to be the only one I have issues with.
Which jelly product would you say has the most hold?
I have tried both CJ PP and AIA CJ and I like them both, but neither has quite enough hold on their own. I like jelly products quite a bit, as they don't weigh my hair down, and they leave my hair touchable and shiny, so if I can find a harder hold jelly to layer that would be fabulous!

I'm afraid I have never heard of GVP LSG. I searched, but I can't figure that acronym out. Help! I know GVP is generic value products, but the LSG has left me mystified!
TIA!

My hair really doesn't need a lot of hold. I suspect that it's because I have my moisture/protein balance right. I think that's the key to everything. Some products you may want to try are:

Curly Kinks Coil Jam, DM MiraCurls Curling Gelly, UFD Curly Magic, Botanical Spirits Puree, KCCC or try making FSG or okra gel.

If I recall correctly, GVP LSG is Generic Value Products Liquid Sculpting Gel, which is a dupe for something by Paul Mitchell.
