poll and question for jessicurl
I know that I as well as other curlies love your product line. But one problem I have is that while it gives me fantastic curls, there just isn't enough hold and so I am forced to add one more product for hold. Have you considered or are you trying to make another product that gives a bit of hold? I'll start a poll to see how much interest there would be in a product like that...

Please, Jessi. That would be awesome! I, too, have great shine and ringlets with RR, but I need more hold against "fuzzing up". Having to combine with my regular gel defeats the purpose of streamlining my product stash. If you need a 3-b guinea pig, I'm your girl! Great idea, aya9877.

I love RR but I sometimes have to add other gels for hold.

I would like the Rockin Ringlets to have more hold too. I have been using the RR w/ Gelebration spray (for the spots I miss while I am diffusing) What gel have you ladies been using w/ the RR?

I'd be interested in trying a "firm hold rockin' ringlets" product as well! Jessicurl's stuff is great......

I would definately be interested. For me, it would be best if it's mostly a gel, with the great characteristics of RR.
Right now I add a few drops to each nickel size amount of L'Oreal AntiFrizz Gel, or Ouidad Tress F/X gel.
There are so many of us who like RR, but need gel for control. Personally, I have to use A LOT of gel in my hair (saturate it), so a nice medium hold RR-gel would be awesome!!!

for those that are interested, I emailed jess and this was her response.

Let's hope she finds a supplier that will be willing to accomodate her without charging her an arm and a leg.

I think that if she was able to get her products into more salons around the country, Jessicurl wouldn't be a small buisness anymore!!! Her conditioners are so great.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that she finds a good supplier....

I voted yes, with a caveat. I would like to see more hold with the Gelebration, since the RR is too strong for my fine hair.

I think I'm the only one who would not like to see it with more hold. I've used products with more hold and it just 'disrupted' my curl pattern, stiff/crunch/wirey, very unnatural looking. RR reveals my hair's natural beaty, I've never had so many compliments. I hope she never changes the RR. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

i don't think we're saying we want to change RR...just something in addition to it with the same qualities just with more hold

Absolutely what cris said. I wouldn't dare want her to change the RR as so many curlies love it just the way that it is.

I agree too! I just want a gel-like product in addition to the RR, not instead of it!

It would be interesting to try and I also hope she can find a supplier who will give her those ingredients. Still loving the products and actually trying to get some NYC stores to stock it. I also will be giving away samples at my curl gathering in March (the 7th), don't forget about that and I will post again closer to the date.

I would definately be interested in a gel....good luck with your search Jessicurl.
As for mixing with a gel....I used to have really good luck mixing RR with Aura Cacia....but now that's its discontinued I'll have to find a new combo. When I get paid again I'm definately going to buy some more RR. I was going to give up on it, but the day I used my last little bit, I mixed it with the Aura Cacia and got soooo many compliments on how curly my hair was. Maybe I'll try mixing it with my new Graham Webb Curl Defining Gel.

I just wanted you to realize the demand is definately there And I hope this will encourage you to continue experimenting if you do find a supplier willing to sell in smaller quantities.
Definately keep us posted!
