Default Who loves kinky curly knot today?

I am a couple inches away from purchasing it but still can't justify spending $12 on a product may I may not work for me. Some love ladies suggested I try it for my knots but I am worried it will just be chucked to the back of my cabinet like other hair products. Who actually uses and loves it as a detangler? Please let me know! I read a lot of reviews but a select few do not like it at all. Will it work on my long 3a/3b hair? Who loves kinky curly knot today?-imageuploadedbycurltalk1382646306.396104.jpg it seriously knots like crazy especially the old damages ends!

I have it, but won't repurchase once this bottle is gone--the reason being that I don't really need it as a detangler because my hair doesn't tangle that much anymore. So I can use my regular conditioner when I detangle, no problem. For hair that's very tangled and difficult to detangle, I think KCKT is the best detangler out there. BUT it's not a leave in! I think some people who dislike KCKT try it as a leave in, and I guess you could use it as such, but it's not very moisturizing if that's what you want.

I wish I could send you mine. Lol I can see where it would work great for tangled hair, but that isn't my need. It sort of works to smooth the hair.

I have 3a curls as well, but not as long as yours. I was hesitant to buy it as well because of the price. I asked the workers at target if I could return it if I didn't like it and they said yes, so I figured I would buy it. I'm so glad I did. I really like it. My hair doesn't have bad tangles but it works great to get the ones that are there and just for leave in purposes. I know some people say it isn't a leave in and some say it is. The website says that it is and from my own experience I believe that it is as well. My hair does feel soft and moisturized after I use it. It has tons of slip and feels great. I would recommend it and I will be repurchasing it. I also really like the KCCC and I think they work great together.

It is GREAT for detangling! You have to try it if that is your main goal. I don't have a lot of tangles, but I do have lots of kinks, and this adds slip to my hair and helps the individual strands with kinks from catching onto others and de clumping. I stopped using it for a while after learning the pH is too high, but I've brought it out again and had forgotten how much I love it. I don't care for the scent, though- it smells like pineapple, which I like...but not in my hair.

I want it because my hair tangles a lot! But it's mostly the old damaged ends... 😒 yay I can't wait to get my hands on it! I really hope I like it! It will be a lifesaver for me while I grow off my damaged ends and trim little by little.

Ok thank you curlyinthefrog my ouidad is refresher spray is kinda similar but not the best detangler. I just use it as a leave in spray after my conditioner and before my styling products.

I hope you love it! I have been really impressed with it. If it doesn't work then I would try Paul Mitchell "The Conditioner". It's a fabulous leave in with good slip & detangles well. It's moisturizing but not heavy. I've used it for years and only took a break from it to try Knot Today. The ingredients in the Paul Mitchell aren't totally CG - I believe it has some silicones - but if that doesn't bother you then I would try it if Knot Today doesn't work. Good luck!

Ok thank you so much Brigette and Chloe 😊 I am so excited to buy it! I will try it as a leave in too but if it doesn't work it's ok because I use Tresseme Naturals as my leave in. I also use my Ouidad botanical boost refreshing spray as a leave in and am almost finished with my third bottle! Love that stuff 💕

You're welcome! I've just now started trying Ouidad products. I'll have to look into that spray. Do you use her shampoos & conditioners?

No brigette they are a little pricey for me right now. But I would love to try the climate control gel one day 😊 I hope you like the botanical boost I personally love it! It also refreshes my curls nicely 💕 the only thing I don't like is that I go through the bottle so quickly! Haha

I got the defrizzing shampoo & conditioner at Ulta a few weeks ago because I had been dying to try it and they were giving away an almost full size bottle of the climate control gel with it. I am liking all of them so far. I'm so surprised that I like the gel. It doesn't feel like a gel at all...more like a serum/leave in mix. It doesn't leave my curls sticky or crunchy. I just wish it provided a little better hold that lasted longer. I also wish Ouidad's products weren't so pricey, but at least Ulta lets you return them if you don't like them 😉

I really like KC Knot Today; it's one of my three staple conditioners.
